Chrissy Szczupak

British-born but American-raised, Chrissy got her start behind the camera early—thanks to a basement darkroom her dad built just for her. (It smelled like chemicals and ambition.) Since then, she’s made a career out of blending creativity with emerging technology in ways that are anything but ordinary.

Chrissy began in the world of photography, hustling in New York City with her own business while managing a busy post-production studio and learning the fine art of compositing on the fly. Eventually, she traded subway grit for California sun to join a startup called Lytro, where she helped bridge the worlds of Hollywood and Silicon Valley during the launch of their groundbreaking VR camera.

After Lytro was acquired by Google, Chrissy produced over 50 immersive VR and AR experiences for YouTube and Google. That work lit a fire for hybrid storytelling—creative formats that live between the pixels—and led her to Netflix, where she spent six years producing interactive films, experimental content, and large-scale promotional creative with top-tier showrunners and engineers alike.

Now, as founder of Cut & Paisty, Chrissy is channeling that experience into a new kind of production company—one where AI is less about replacing creativity and more about unlocking it. She’s here to play, experiment, and push the boundaries of what stories can be.
